The Rest Of My Life Begins Today
Today's the day I've been waiting for the whole life. I'll wake up a little earlier than usual, brush my teeth and eat my last breakfast as a college student :). My mom was looking at me with tears running down her cheeks wondering how her baby grew up so quickly. My friends texting our group message non-stop with words of disbelief, wondering where the time went. That we made it to the day we've been counting down to all year long.
I'll start to reminisce on things like when I first enter the university campus and the dorky outfits I wore freshman year. I'll laugh at things my old teachers did and remember the ones who left to teach somewhere else. I' ll remember all of the P.E class games I attended. I'll drive by the University Campus and think of all the blood, sweat and tears I gave to it over my college school career. It feel like yesterday when I walk through those doors for the final time.
Before I sit down to hear the Valedictorian's speech and walk the stage to receive my diploma, I make sure to take the time to appreciate the memories I made in the University of Caloocan City. Thank my teachers, even the difficult ones, because they're the one who contribute on what am I now. Thank my parent for supporting me. Thank my friends for always being there for me. And lastly thank all those people who helped me to finished my studies specially to Manila Life Chances Program . I thank MLCP program for being part of it and for all the financial support they have given
As I received my diploma I knew that I will face a new chapter of life and a new environment but with the help of God's grace, family, friends and those people who believes in my abilities, I can face and overcome all those challenges and circumstances.
